A vis dev project inspired by an 1001 Arabian Nights retelling Shadow Spinner, set in the Ottoman empire with bug motifs. The novel follows the pov of a mobility-impaired orphan who must to find new and untold stories for Shahrazad to tell the Sultan in order to save her life. Yara is an exploration of the orphan character in a reimagined world with magic/tech, where she must collect stories from a scroll-filled cave defended by a blind beast.
