Assisted @bithapi and @paxibus with their 2022 VMA’s animated music video for Dynamite by BTS. I was the colorist for all the backgrounds, and also asissted with lineart for inbetweens and coloring frames!

I mostly had creative freedom in the color palettes based on our style inspirations Steven Universe and Adventure Time. It was fun to play with shadows and light layers to add interest to otherwise empty spaces; I relied a lot on overlay, multiply, and color dodge modes.
