Under the mentorship of Kenny Vo (Blue Eye Samurai, Transformers One), I made this splash art in contribution to Kenny’s myths and legends book created to showcase the vis dev process and pipeline of various artists. I wanted to create something that tied into my indonesian heritage, so I took inspiration from the balinese legends of Barong and Rangda and incorporated icy magic motifs.
